This year’s Healing Appalachia festival marked another milestone for Hope in the Hills, drawing over 20,000 attendees from 40 states and eight countries to Ashland, Kentucky, for three days of music, recovery, and community. What began as a grassroots movement has grown into the largest recovery-based music festival in the world — blending world-class performances with a life-saving mission.

With headliners Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton, the festival not only celebrated Appalachian music but also the power of hope and healing.

Symmetry Agency was honored to play a hands-on role in making the festival run smoothly. Our team built and launched the ticketing website, ensuring a seamless experience from browsing to checkout. We handled every aspect of customer service communications — from general inquiries to ticket transfers, refunds, and troubleshooting — while keeping attendees informed with timely updates as new festival details were released.

In the months leading up to the festival, Symmetry contributed to critical planning, including site layout, stage and vendor placement, and accessibility improvements to optimize guest flow. Our team also assisted with developing detailed FAQ guides, signage, and event maps to make navigation intuitive for first-time attendees.

On-site, Symmetry’s presence extended across multiple operational touchpoints. We supported parking logistics, assisted attendees with directional guidance, and coordinated directly with festival staff to address urgent customer requests. From helping attendees locate resources to troubleshooting last-minute ticketing issues, our team ensured the weekend ran as smoothly as possible.

The result was a sold-out festival that ran seamlessly, reflecting the hard work of Hope in the Hills, WhizzbangBAM, volunteers, artists, and partners. Symmetry is proud to have been a part of this effort, connecting people not only to incredible music but also to the life-affirming message of recovery, resilience, and community that defines Healing Appalachia.

As the festival continues to grow, we look forward to deepening our involvement, refining the attendee experience, and helping bring even more people together for music, connection, and hope in the years ahead.
